Description
I'm no photographer so please be gentle with me. just want to share this picture.took a picture of my sister and niece walking by the beach in Swansea, Wales. A cold gloomy afternoon it was. Just had a break from non-stop raining week.
used Sony Cybershot DSC-W70 with setting turned to the quarter moon sign, the banana shape ( sorry dont know how it is called ).

Very nice addition to the composition with the people walking imo.
Apart from what Carlos just mentioned I would try to crop slightly from right not having the sun and those people in the center.
Should I mention the horizon being tilted? Nohhh.... lol

Bottoms of come clouds (mostly the bigger ones) can be used for determining whether the photo is tilted or not.
Using e.g. multiply and screen layers with gradient layer masks, you can extract some detail from the dark bottom and emphasize the darkness of the top, if you wish to do so.

I like the concept, for the most part it looks good. I agree with Slapo's suggestions.
